Mr. Terry is currently working on a TV series: What Would Muhammad Do? Understanding Islam Through Muhammad's Life, and has now been threatened via mail to stop.
The letter came through the Coppell, Texas, U.S. mail facility, about a half-hour drive from where the two terrorists were killed in Garland, Texas, on May 3 outside a cartoon competition, from a Theo Van Gogh Society.
But there is no "Theo Van Gogh Society."
Theo Van Gogh was a Dutch Filmmaker who had his throat cut in broad daylight in Amsterdam by a devout Muslim. The Muslim man then tried to decapitate Mr. Van Gogh, but failed. Van Gogh had produced a film critical of the treatment of Muslim women in Islam called Submission.
The reference to Van Gogh's brutal murder is the warning: "Stop doing TV shows critical of Islam. Stop production of What Would Muhammad Do? or face Van Gogh's fate."
