Myanmar Military Ignores Ceasefire, Attacks Christians

"Even as Myanmar (formerly Burma) promises to continue making large political
reforms and greatly increase freedoms within the country, the Burmese military
is continuing an offensive against the ethnic Kachin people. The Kachin are
mostly Christian (some estimates say more than 98 percent). They have been
seeking independence from Myanmar for decades. Burmese forces are engaging in
heavy shelling and causing many civilian casualties. Young people are organizing
a peace march in efforts to stop the fighting."

Pray for peace through Myanmar,

Pray the Burmese military will honor the government’s promises that fighting will cease,

Pray the Kachin people gain their independence from Myanmar.

Middle East.

Christians aren’t greatly
impacted by persecution.

Whatever persecution there is, the damage is superficial - more a loss of multicultural diversity than anything else.
