"Sevada Aghasar was released from Evin prison on March 02, 2014.

"Mr. Aghasar, spent over six months behind bars, before he was released from ward 350 of Evin prison..."

"...Mr. Aghasar was never officially charged, but evidence suggest that his arrest is related to his online contact with a number of Farsi-speaking Christians.

"Mr. Aghasar is an Iranian-Armenian Christian and a member of the Gregorian Church..."

"...Another Christian man, Masoud Mirzaei, who had been arrested with Mr. Aghasar, has also been released..."

"...Obviously, persistent pressure on Iranian churches and especially Farsi-speaking Christian converts is a direct and systematic violation of Human Rights. Although Iranian rulers claim to guarantee religious freedom, persecution of Iranian Christian converts has increased rapidly. Today, tens of Christians are in Iran's prisons for their faith."
