Wenxi Li was released from prison on Dec. 18 after completing a two-year prison sentence in central China. Wenxi was arrested after traveling to Taiyuan in Shanxi province to help local believers set up a Christian book store. Police raided the store and confiscated $6,000 worth of books. When police ordered Wenxi to the station to claim the books, he was arrested and later sentenced to prison. VOM workers plan to visit with Wenxi and his family soon. His wife, Cai Hong, has said that her husband is very passionate about the book-store ministry and will likely want to return.
