Do not fret because of evildoers, be not envious toward wrongdoers.
For they will wither quickly like the grass and fade like the green herb. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
I received a beautiful letter today and a humbling reminder that I wish to share with all of you..
Today is Maundy Thursday. It’s the day that Jesus, the Son of God, knelt before his disciples and washed their feet.
It’s an undignified task—even more so two millennia ago in a dusty, desert land where everyone wore sandals. And yet, “Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God, rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist” (John 13:3-4). And so the Son of God washed the feet of His servants—and the one who would soon betray Him, Judas. It’s hard to imagine a humility and love like this, but I often see it in the persecuted church. Time after time, I hear stories of Muslim families persecuting their Christian sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, because they have surrendered their lives over to Jesus. And while sometimes distance is essential for safety reasons, these brave believers long to return home to share the gospel one more time. For many persecuted believers, their love for their families is greater than the hatred and persecution they face—and it gives them courage and hope in even the most dangerous and harrowing situations. They have found in Jesus a love that is so much greater than anything in the world, and they become servants for His sake. They are not perfect, and their paths are hard and long, but they are my heroes. This Easter, may we rejoice in the God who humbled Himself…and defeated the grave! May we serve our victorious Savior with humility and love all the days of our lives. In Him, Joshua YoussefPresident and CEO
Sheila Holm is remarkable. She is filled with the Holy Spirit and wants all of us to cultivate this relationship, too. "When you have that connection, you're not operating in your own wisdom trying to guess." She shares the essence of her relationship with the Holy Spirit, what God wants us to know:
"...The abortion industry, led by Planned Parenthood, is a powerful special interest in our country. They fight to silence reporting on their black market of aborted baby organ harvesting, and the ongoing cover up goes to the highest levels of our government. Kamala Harris, as the Planned Parenthood-endorsed Attorney General of California in 2016, raided my apartment to seize hundreds of hours of unreleased undercover footage. Some of the biggest Planned Parenthood abortion centers got a federal judge in San Francisco, who previously opened and funded a Planned Parenthood clinic, to issue a federal injunction against the release of the remaining footage. I and my organization now face a total $25 million fine for our investigative reporting—I guess being able to continue to sell baby parts is worth at least $25 million to Planned Parenthood.
Aborted babies are only valuable for Planned Parenthood to harvest and sell and for government-funded laboratories to buy precisely because they are human beings just like us. But the message that our civilization needs more than ever right now is that the value of every human being is infinite. At a time when powerful government and media forces are trying to silence this message and well-meaning public officials sometimes struggle to find their voice, it is imperative for the people’s house to reopen formal investigations of the black market in aborted baby organ harvesting so that taxpayer-funded entities can never put a price tag on human beings."

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

"...Molecular biologists call Laminin “the glue of the body”, because without it, our bodies would fall apart. The truth is, without Jesus and what he did for us on the cross, our whole lives would fall apart. Colossians 1:17 says that Jesus “is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Jesus is the one who holds our lives together, just like Laminin holds our bodies together. Without Jesus, our lives are a mess. We are nothing without the cross of Jesus Christ!"
