A favorite cousin suggested this for the OS Blog. Profound. Miraculous and Glorious, too.  There is much more at her page. She loves the Lord, and her posts display that love. You will enjoy a visit:

"...Molecular biologists call Laminin “the glue of the body”, because without it, our bodies would fall apart. The truth is, without Jesus and what he did for us on the cross, our whole lives would fall apart. Colossians 1:17 says that Jesus “is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Jesus is the one who holds our lives together, just like Laminin holds our bodies together. Without Jesus, our lives are a mess. We are nothing without the cross of Jesus Christ!"

After reading this article, I realized the affirmation that we are tied to God while on this earth from birth to death. The cross is a powerful symbol to remind us of the price paid for our redemption. We are given free will to choose and what we do with that choice will either affirm our belief in our Creator and our Lord and Savior or not. Remember, God said in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you”.

Amen! From birth to death, yet our hearts are deceitful even unto our very selves. We must cling to the Lord and keep our eyes, our hope and our faith pure and strong as best we can, with His loving help and guidance. Love one another and remember and do not forget Jesus also loves those who are broken and He loves them most profoundly as illustrated on the cross.

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18
