Boko Haram Leaves 6,500 Children Malnourished in Nigeria
Note from International Christian Concern:
Newsweek reports Boko Haram has left more than 6,500 children malnourished in northern Nigeria who now reside in displacement camps. That represents just a percentage of a reported 54,000 people in northeast Nigeria potentially starving because of food insecurity related to the ongoing terrorist insurgency. Persecution always carries lasting effects beyond the initial attack and these reports represent the struggle Christians and other Nigerians caught in Boko Haram's crossfire continue to face because of the horrible terror the Islamist fighters levy against northern Nigeria.

Note from International Christian Concern:
Eritreans represent the largest number of migrants in the global refugee crisis that are applying for asylum in the United Kingdom. The tiny East African nation on the banks of the Red Sea is one of the hardest places on earth to be a Christian. Not only does the government oppress the general population, ruling by fear of arbitrary imprisonment, torture and indefinite compulsory military service, but Christians are treated the worst. The government views believers who practice outside of the four state religions as enemies of the state, subjecting them to psychological torture and imprisonment inside metal shipping containers in the desert. Thousands of migrants from Eritrea are fleeing to escape a life of persecution and poverty.
