Kazakhstani Baptists Due in Court

Please read KAZAKHSTAN – Baptists Due in Court over Church Activities at Release International.

"Members of a group of Christians arrested in Kazakhstan are due in court tomorrow to face charges linked to 'administrative offences'.

"Ten believers were arrested when up to 16 police officers and journalists, led by a government official, raided a meeting of their Baptist congregation in Oral, West Kazakhstan Region, on November 10. The journalists filmed the proceedings on cameras and smartphones.

"The accused, who include 79-year-old Anatoli Lazarenko, face possible fines of one or two months' average salary."

Christian persecution is just a phenomenon in the
Middle East.

Christians aren’t greatly
impacted by persecution.

Whatever persecution there is, the damage is superficial - more a loss of multicultural diversity than anything else.

Christians supposedly bring persecution upon themselves by proselytizing.

Persecution couldn’t
happen here.
