"Pastor Sanjeevulu passed away on January 13th, two days after being lured onto his doorstep, where he was stabbed seven times and beaten with clubs and sticks by unknown men requesting to pray. The pastor's wife was also stabbed during the attack and has survived the ordeal. The only arrests made in this case to-date were Christian leaders protesting the attack outside the offices of the Chief Minister, demanding the arrest of the culprits. As Sajan K. George, president of the Global Council of Indian Churches told AsiaNews, "We need to see justice done." "

Middle East.
