Your Donation Will Help the Abedini Family
and Much, Much More!
Jordan Sekulow Writes:
American Pastor Saeed Abedini remains in an Iranian hospital - receiving medical care because of your prayers and support.
Family members in Iran are able to visit him, he's receiving medication and nutrition, and Secretary Kerry once again called for his release this week.
You're making a difference, but there's much left to be done.
Pastor Saeed - a U.S. citizen - has still not received the critical surgery he needs for injuries caused by prison beatings.
We can't let him go back to that prison.
We are fighting tirelessly to bring him home. I recently returned from a diplomatic mission to the Middle East, and we have additional legal teams scheduled to meet with world leaders.
All of this is only possible because of your support. We're nearly halfway through our April Matching Challenge, but we're significantly behind. A $14 gift today toward our work for the persecuted Church in 2014 will be doubled.

Over a quarter million of you have demanded that Iran free Pastor Saeed. He's now in an Iranian hospital, not prison, because you spoke out. We're thankful he's receiving medical attention, but it's time to bring him home. Keep appealing to Iran for clemency - for freedom - for Pastor Saeed.

In addition to our global fight for the persecuted Church, we're fighting for religious liberty right here at home. This week we've had two major victories.
In New York, school officials tried to discriminate against a student-led Bible club. The officials claimed that Christian clubs - and only Christian clubs - needed to purchase insurance before they could meet in the school. Are Christians more dangerous than other students? Our attorneys informed the school that this kind of anti-Christian discrimination is unconstitutional. The school immediately backed down.
Victory for Bible Club in NY.
We also won another major court decision in a case we recently told you about. A North Carolina university discriminated against a Christian professor for exercising his free speech rights. A jury agreed, and this week the judge rightly awarded this professor the promotion and back pay he was unjustly denied.

Whether it is unjust discrimination at home or deadly persecution abroad, we're working around the clock to defend religious liberty. An ACLJ diplomatic team just returned from the Middle East and other legal teams will be meeting with world leaders in the fight to free Pastor Saeed.
Your support makes all this possible. Your tax-deductible gift will be doubled through our April Matching Challenge.
