Saeed Abedini's Family Permitted To Visit Prison For Prayer And Fellowship

by Carrie Dedrick
Christian Headlines
"Imprisoned pastor Saeed Abedini was permitted to see his family and enjoy a time of prayer and fellowship. The rare visit with relatives was a “physical visitation,” which means that barriers were not placed between Abedini and his relatives..."

"A prayer vigil is set for September 26 to mark the second anniversary of Abedini’s imprisonment. On that day, the world is encouraged to come together to pray for Abedini, as well as persecuted Christians around the globe.

"Saeed’s wife, Naghmeh Abedini said, "Saeed is doing better.  He has heard about the prayer vigil [set for September 26th, to mark the second anniversary of Saeed's imprisonment] and is praying and expecting great things as we come together and pray.'"

Meriam Ibrahim, Freed From Sudan, Plans To Settle In New Hampshire
by Josephine McKenna
Christian Headlines

"Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian who was flown to Rome after her death sentence was overturned, is now dreaming of building a future in the U.S.

“'We will begin a new life,” Ibrahim told Antonella Napoli, head of Italians for Darfur, according to the daily La Repubblica.

“'My husband, a chemist, lost his job because of my event. Now we will go to New Hampshire where my brother-in-law Gabriel lives. They will help us. We will be all together as a true family...'”

"...Within hours of landing in Italy, Ibrahim and her family met with Pope Francis, who thanked her for her courage and staying true to her faith despite the threat of execution.

“I never believed I would fulfill my lifelong dream — to meet the pope,” Ibrahim reportedly said. “I have always wanted and only wanted my faith. The love of my husband is a gift from God.'”

7/21/2014

This request from Pastor Bashir and wife, Ayeasha, asks that we pray for God’s protection in their lives, protection from the hands of Radical Muslims.  Please read their letter, and gain understanding.  What does it mean to be a persecuted Christian?  Yes Bashir and Ayeasha, we are praying for you; we are praying for all of you.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.
Picture
Greetings to you in the most precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ from India!

We are very glad to share with you that God has given us burden & vision in our lives to reach specifically to The MUSLIMS by The Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have dedicated our lives into His hands to be used according to His will & plan in our lives.

Our Lord Jesus is using us to fulfil His plan & will in and through our lives. Already Several Muslims men & women surrendered their lives to Jesus and they are following His teachings. They are witnessing about Jesus and their testimonies to their relatives & neighbors. God is adding more men & women to our worship services almost every week for His own glory.

Militant Muslims are often torturing physically and trying to kill us and the believers from Muslim background for their new faith in Jesus. Even though we are facing heavy persecutions & threats by the Militant Muslims, but our Lord Jesus is using our lives for the extension of His Kingdom and He has protected us for His own glory. Militant Muslims are constantly trying to murder us. Our lives are in danger at this moment.

We are in great need of your kind prayers in our own lives and for the persecuted believers. Humbly, we request you kindly pray for God’s protection from the hands of  Militant Muslims. Please also pray that we might be always faithful to His call in our lives and grow in Him.

We humbly request you kindly write few words to us for encouragement.

With regards,
Bashir & Ayeasha

KINDLY PRAY FOR:

House Church Ministry, Discipleship Ministry, Women Ministry, Children Ministry, Health Care Ministries for the women & Children and Compassion Ministry (such as Distributing Clothes  & blankets to the poor children & Sarees to poor woman, Free tuition to the needy students, Feeding to the poor children , helping to the persecuted believers those who lost their sources of income & houses for their faith in Jesus, Educational help to the poor & needy students, Providing Nutrients for  Malnourished children)

Praise The Lord Who Blesses Us

This lovely prayer was gratefully taken from Quiet Walk's Thru The Bible daily devotional.
Praise the Lord who blesses us that we might draw others to Him because of His mark in our lives:

"You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created"
Revelation 4:11

I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness,
And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High
Psalms 7:17

Pause for personal praise and thanksgiving. Pray this confession to the Lord as you seek to keep your life free from sin and its effects:

Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful,
And have forgotten the God who fathered you
Deuteronomy 32:18

Confess any sins that the Holy Spirit brings to your mind. Now pray this affirmation to the Lord:

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
1 John 3:2

As you make your requests known to the Lord, include:

· greater commitment to the Lord,
· the work of specific Christian ministries,
· whatever else is on your heart.

Offer this closing prayer to the Lord:

Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalms 90:17

Meriam Still Needs Prayers And Action

"Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian woman who was recently released from prison after facing the death penalty, is still stuck in Sudan. Ibrahim and her family are said to be safe at a “makeshift home” in at U.S. embassy in Sudan.

"
At eight months pregnant, Ibrahim had been sentenced to death for not renouncing her Christian faith and she was imprisoned and eventually forced to give birth in chains while shackled in the Omdurman Federal Women’s Prison in North Khartoum, Sudan.

"Ibrahim was freed from prison after an appeals court found a lower court’s death penalty sentence to be unfounded. Ibrahim and her husband, who has both Sudanese and U.S. citizenship, traveled to the airport in Khartoum to leave the country for the U.S. They were arrested at the airport and accused of using forged travel documents, a claim Ibrahim denies.

"After they were released, they went to the U.S. embassy, where they are now in a “makeshift” home there. But they have been there for some time..."

Why Is Meriam Ibrahaim Still Stuck In Sudan After Being Released From Prison? by Steven Ertelt, Life News

Picture
"After Sudan faced unprecedented international pressure on her case, Meriam's death sentence for apostasy was cancelled by a court in Khartoum, and all charges against her were dropped.

"But when she and her family attempted to leave Sudan on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, they were arrested again, detained, and eventually released. Currently taking temporary shelter in the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Meriam and her family are still waiting and hoping to be able to come to the United States.

"Facing death threats from her own family, Meriam's life is at risk the longer she stays in Sudan. It is crucial that she be granted safe and swift passage to the United States. You can take action for this courageous Christian woman, and continue to be a voice on her behalf..."

From The ACLJ Team:

Meriam Ibrahim and her American husband and children have reportedly taken refuge in the U.S. Embassy in Sudan.

Meriam, who was sentenced to flogging and death for her Christian faith, is finally out of Sudanese custody after Sudan's secret police snatched them from the arms of American diplomats, an episode that humiliated the Obama State Department and placed her and her American family in grave danger.

The State Department must get its act together. The State Department must now escort Meriam home to America. Sign our petition and read our update:
