Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
For I have come to have much joy and comfort in your love, because the[a]hearts of the [b]saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
