Heavenly Father,
We thank you for Your many blessings on this day. We come to You to express great appreciation for our North Korean brothers and sisters. They pray for us; their wish is that we may all realize that You are all we ever need. Living in the most abusive country in the world, towards practicing Christians, these saints pray that we will begin to understand our problems in the west will not be solved by money, freedom and politics.by You.
May Your great Underground Church be strengthened in every way. May our brothers and sisters in prisons all around the world continue to lean on You, Heavenly Father. May their loads be light and burdens easy in the way of Your Grace and Love. Thy Will Be Done.
In the name of Your Son, Jesus, we pray.
Amen!
"One of the first things Eric Foley, the co-founder of Seoul USA, learned about the North Korean underground church is that it is not a group to be pitied. About 10 years ago Foley asked a member of the underground church how he could pray for them. He recalls the North Korean’s response, “You, pray for us? We pray for you … because South Korean and American churches believe challenges in the Christian faith are solved by money, freedom, and politics. It’s only when all you have is God do you realize God is all you need.” "
