"Note the key characteristic of true prayer—"in the Holy Spirit." The seed of acceptable devotion must come from heaven's storehouse. Only the prayer that comes from God can go to God. We must shoot the Lord's arrows back to Him. The desire that He writes upon our heart will move His heart and bring down a blessing, but the desires of the flesh have no power with Him." How Do You Pray? by Allistair Begg, Truth for Life Cross Walk But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

A man in Christ
He arose and forsook all and followed Him, Kindly affectioned with brotherly love, Fervent in spirit serving the Lord, Rejoicing in hope, Patient in tribulation, Instant in prayer, Communicating to the necessity of saints, In honour preferring others, Apart from faith in Christ, There is no explanation for such a life. Epitaph William Whiting Borden, Wikipedia "...What makes Borden so interesting is that he was a Yale graduate, and the heir to great wealth. Yet he rejected a life of ease in exchange for the life of a missionary in Egypt. He gave away hundreds of thousands of dollars to missions, and after only four months of ministry in Egypt, he contracted spinal meningitis and died at age twenty-five..." God Plus One by Steve Arterburn, Daily New Life Cross Walk Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law. But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.
Galatians 3:21-29 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Ephesians 2:8 "...I could truthfully say that anyone who asks for salvation receives it no matter when in life they ask. God hears them even if no one else does. Then I could issue a challenge to the living that since they might not know when their last breath will come, they should resolve the matter of their own eternal destiny as soon as possible. And because of the “last breath” principle, I could so this without passing judgment on the deceased in the process."
