We need His creation, because He created it for us. it is beautiful, it sustains us, it replenishes us, and it provides us peace and calm. I know we must not love the creation more than the creator, but I love it enough to shed tears when I witness the rape and pillage of it. I cannot understand how this happens, then I remember the ugly lizard that runs the show here. He will do whatever it takes to destroy God's magnificent creation. We have a promise; however, one that we can lean on. The nasty lizard is not destined to win this war.
"How foolish it is to devote so much of our lives to the acquisition of things, when all things truly belong to the Lord. We are but caretakers of what the Lord has made, and it has been given us for everyone's pleasure. Wise use of our resources and preservation of all creation is the responsibility of all humankind."
